How to measure your headsize

To measure your head you can either use a soft tape measure or improvise with string and a ruler. Place it around the circumference of your head, about half a centimetre or a finger's width above your ears, across your mid forehead, and around the widest part of the back of your head. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tight. Basically you need to measure your head exactly where the hat will sit. If your measurement falls between sizes or if you prefer a looser fit, go up to the next whole size.

HOW TO TAKE CARE

Our hats are made of 100% rabbit fur felt. This is a hardy, natural material that is water resistant, however, not waterproof. If your hat gets soaked, do not place it on a heater or in the sun, as heat can cause the hat to shrink. Take it inside and let it air dry on a flat service.

To remove dust, brush the hat, always brushing in one direction - the top of the hat counterclockwise, the bottom clockwise.

To remove stains, gently use fine sandpaper, then brush.
We recommend not to worry too much though, as a natural patina will add character to your Nomade Moderne hat.
